I don’t mind the logo but the shades of yellow and blue are horrible and the guernsey is so stupid, how multiple people approved that is beyond me.

That Suns logo might be a slow burn I reckon. It's better than the old logo but is it any good? I don't mind the blue and yellow version Billy ray posted because that actually looks like sun and water. Double red is such a strange choice.

They didnt learn that slapping a logo-any logo-on a jumper doesnt work.

I feel the could have done so much more with the Jumper. The Logo has grown on me and gives them so many options other than just sticking it in the middle. They need something more, something to stand them apart like every other club has.

I think that is what is so confusing, I have seen yellow on red on their website as well but it has no real uniformity. We'll have to wait and see how it roles out tomorrow 6am and see if it all fits together

So, officially official now. Not sure why they're posting this randomly on a Thursday night rather than just waiting for the big event they've been hyping up tomorrow morning though

The "S" Suns? Where is this football team from? They're emphasising the "Suns" part of the brand by using "S" - that they're already emphasising with the wordmark "SUNS". This is insanity and just incredibly dumb.



Anyway, here's what I could mock up in a 5 mins with what they pooped out, a logo for the GOLD COAST Suns.

Not to mention - in all the branding they seem to be emphasising the wordmark now with the logo being tucked away to the side, except for the fact the wordmark isn't unique or interesting enough on its own to be worth emphasising. It's literally just Eurostile Bold Extended to promote a vague nostalgic/vintage feeling. Anybody can use this font today, they didn't even bother they just bought the license to use the font commercially and revolved the whole brand around that.

My main gripe - if the jumper as mocked up before true, they have somehow made their guernsey even WORSE, more soulless and more training jumper-like than it was before. I didn't even realise that was possible.
