Cool, do you care to explain why you think the logo is bad? It's so easy for one to say "this logo is good" and "this logo is bad" because anyone can just say their opinion aloud. I am not arguing in opinion, beauty is subjective but design is not. Design is creating something with a stated goal our purpose, and if that is not achieved then that design is by nature is bad. The Suns (now former) logo is objectively good. Sure there is much room for improvement, but it communicates the location of which it represents; vibrant colours and overall 'surfy' aesthetic undeniably captures the essence of the idealised Gold Coast/Surfers Paradise area.

This rebranded logo in my opinion looks good, but as we see it is already failing in its application and so objectively it is a bad logo and by proxy a bad brand.

I'm absolutely digging the rebrand so far. It would have been a success had they ditched yellow and blue and just went for two tone red instead. The website looks sick.

Wow so "fearless" that they decided to just pussy out of designing an actual wordmark and just bought the commercial licence to use Eurostile Bold and slapped it under the logo. One of the lamest things I've seen a professional sports team try to pull since the Chargers 'LA Dodgers' logo.

I think a hoop would look better than a stripe since the logo is more horizontal than vertical. You could make the logo bigger then too.

I knew I couldn't see a G or a C in it. It's just the S, a football and the sun apparently. I really liked the old colors, they were the only thing going for Gold Coast and they blew it with the darker shades. The whole branding is much worse now than before. A major disappointment and a damn shame that they're run by idiots.

And why announce this now when the big day is tomorrow? The people who run that club are actually worse than those at St. Kilda. Who's the genius who thinks red on red is a winning combination for a jumper?

Adelaide looks so much better, I can only pray St. Kilda's new logo will be good; my expectations are low but at least I don't barrack for this monstrosity.
