A yellow gradient surrounding the logo would be an improvement on the jumper. Similar to what they've been doing on the indigenous jumpers.

Definitely looks like the University Intern stole the Supercoach and Epoch logos and combined them... The new logo just looks completely unoriginal!

also, anyone genuinely believing that the designer of the logo intentionally ripped off either the (decade old) SuperCoach logo or Epoch logo has been watching too many conspiracy theory videos.
Multiple people can arrive at the same idea without having spoken to each other. They aren’t even that similar! IMO it’s no different to that “4 chord” guitar song that shows how different pieces of art can live simultaneously alongside each other without being copies.
Criticise the design, the execution, whatever. But don’t insinuate theft. This happens way too often these days with any rebrand; the internet often wants to believe that the ‘offending’ agency can’t have had an original thought.
