The head coach at carlton has walked out on the job and has reportedly signed at Geelong. We spoke to his managment today ' yes Pendles has signed at Geelong and he is delighted' he also promised that now that his coach they will never choke again!

Hall to Melbourne

Melbourne FC has today announced they've agreed to terms with Sydney that will see Brad Green move north in exchange for Barry Hall.

Says recruiting manager afterburner, "We're very excited to have Barry on board. We have signed him on a 2 year performance based contract with an option for a third year should he keep himself in line."

Melbourne has struggled for forward options all year and Barry may be just the man to help groom their next generation of young forwards sought in this years draft....

Melbourne Secure another Key Forward

Melbourne FC are pleased to welcome young key forward Mitch Thorp. A deal has been struck with Hawthorn that will see Paul Wheatley and James Frawley moving to the Brown and Gold from 2009.

Head of recruiting afterburner could barely contain his excitement as the announcement was made. "With Thorp and Hall together, we now have some real strength in the forward 50."

The Hawthorn football club is delighted to announce to acquisition on Luke McPharlin from the Fremantle Dockers along with versatile defender Paul Wheatley and James Frawley from the Melbourne Football Club. These players bolster what is already a very solid defense, and McPharlin will slot straight into the back half to help out Trent Croad.

Whilst the blues are obviously sad to see a former B and F winner leave the club, the blues desperately needed to improve their ruck stocks for the coming year

Dee's Target a Ruckman

Melbourne FC have shifted their focus towards securing an up and coming ruckman. Having bolstered their forward line with the inclusion of Hall and Thorp, the Dee's are looking for a 10 year prospect.

Also on the list could be Aaron Davey or Cameron Bruce. There are rumours coming from their management teams that both of these boys may be looking for new homes.

Melbourne claimed both were required players, but indicated that a young big man, and high draft picks were required to rebuild the club.

The Crows and Dockers have come to an agreement involving Jon Griffin for picks.
