Throughout the month of September, players from diverse backgrounds from across our region are invited to come along to one of five free sessions with the Western Bulldogs’ Next Generation Academy (NGA).

To be eligible to participate, players must be:

• 11-15 years old
• Identify as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander or
• Were born/ have one parent born in Asia or Africa and;
• Must reside in the Western Bulldogs NGA Zone - see here for the eligible postcodes.

Players of all genders are welcomed and encouraged.

The free come and try sessions will be held in Horsham, Heywood, Ballarat, Warrnambool and Braybrook.

• Thur 12 Sep, 4:30pm – 5:45pm – Heywood Football Netball Club, Heywood

Super pumped for Friday night and was thinking what a privilege it is to be going to seeing Darcy, West (hopefully) and Libba playing September footy in the Red White and Blue. I was wondering if anyone had any updates on the other potential Father Son's we have out there that have played juniors this year? I would be particularly interested in how Zakaria Southern is tracking over in WA as Daniel Southern was my favourite player as a young bloke. I'd love to see another Southern represent the Dogs.

I would be interested in hearing how Zac Southern is going as well, his grandfather was a successful soccer player, so there is some good genes there.
