Guys, got an iPad with 3G. What's it going to be like? Also, I have no idea what my data plan is (it's provided by work). What sort of data plan will I need so work doesn't get a ridiculous bill? Cheers, I'm illiterate tech wise.
Set it to wifi. It's about 2gb a game for me, condensed about 750

If I remember correctly, each full "live" game takes about 3GB to stream.....unfortunatey, if your with Telstra for example, it doesn't qualify for unmetered consumption. I've watched bits and pieces on the ipad but don't really enjoy it (then again, I hate watching any multimedia like movies on ipads as well), performance was OK with occassional lag on 4G, no lag on wifi.

Subscribed. Bring on the NFL season to make my pain go away.

Haha amen to that! Got Season Plus as a Fathers Day present from my awesome wife, I don't think she's realised what she's done...

Having some issues with the quality/buffering the other day but it seems to have sorted itself out. I hope there's no issues because one thing I can't stand is glitching/buffering videos. Looking foreward to some Red Zone channel and catching as many condensed games I can during the week after the games.

Anyone know how I can watch the new (Ravens) America's Game on demand with game pass?
They have 3 clips from it on the NFL website but I don't think that's the whole film. I've searched for the torrent but nothing seems to turn up.

Whatever the original setting was, and I watch it on a pretty big TV and I have no problems with quality or going through too much bandwidth

Pretty sure the original setting is "best available quality" but it seems to start low and then go up though sometimes it hovers at a low rate. However if I max it out at 3000/45000Kbps then it can get a but glitchy? Not sure if it might be my graphics card, my laptop is a couple of years old now.

Thanks for the heads up, will just have to play around with it a bit I guess.

BTW bandwidth not a problem for me, I've got 200GB/month on Bigpond cable.

Is it really worth the money when you can find online streams? (Obviously quality isn't as good but still watchable)

I'm biased but I think it is worth the money.

Got tired of choppy, fuzzy streams that are so bad it is sometimes impossible to track the ball or even the ball carrier. Or you start to get into a game and then the IP police come in and chop the stream. Not sure about what fingerprints some of these streaming providers leave on your PC either.

Heaps better quality, easy to find the games you want, and lots of games to watch (especially in that condensed format) or replay during the week. Far better than dodgy streams which almost always only have certain games anyway. If you wait until a bit later in the season they sometimes drop the price a bit from about week 9ish - or see if you can get a few mates to chip in and share a subscription.

Can someone tell me whether on Game Pass there is a highlights section where I can just go to watch the highlights of each match. I only get time to watch my Bengals and one or two other matches but would like to see the highlights of each match each week.

Have taken your advice onboard and decided to purchase it on Sunday. Was great quality! Only registered for the regular season pass as all playoffs are shown on ONE HD anyway.

Signed up on the weekend.

With two large monitors on my work desk, it's easy to just get Game Pass working in the bottom corner of one of the screens and just sit back and relax.

Was showing it to my technologically-illiterate Dad the other night and I think I blew his mind with the whole "watch four games at once" thing.

The AFL has to explore something like this for the next rights deal, don't they?
