Funny how people bagging out mont but not congratulating them ?? To be bottom 3 or 4 at the halfway mark is a credit to how well they played at the second half of the year ... No one saying anything about bundoora who would easily have spent more cash this year than mont but got done in round one of finals ?? No one expected mont to make it, not even it's self at one point ! Yet they did , ran close to a team that could win the flag and got done to Macleod who took there opportunities and were the better team on the day ... Get over this infatuation with Monty it's crap reading and spiteful jealousy shit , no one from there ever says anything about how dominant they are , it's people not involved with the club who assume and jump to conclusions that they're an arrogant bunch just because they're a successful run club !! This group of boys have no disillusions as to where there at and what needs to happen believe me , they are galvanised as a team and I hope personally that success comes there way soon , especially for guys like bomber Keenan , tenant , pavitt and coghill ... Ps I think Macleod could win the flag this year which would be a remarkable effort !

arrogant bunch just because they're a successful run club - Not sure about this .....Fair bit of debt over last couple of years and coach doing the job to pay off the debt????

People bag Mont because they can't win a final. Simple as that! Year after year it is the same thing. Yes Bundoora may have missed out this year, but they have two recent flags to show for their efforts. Maybe that's the problem with Mont, that their own people are congratulating them for making the finals, whereas other clubs would not be happy with just getting there?

Mate I think you have your facts wrong there....Their outgoing coach was actually at the Reserves game...Any one else have any thoughts on accepting the position at West then 2 eeks later take a job at the Knights?
 
Would love to see Macleod win this week and play the mighty berg in the big dance. Maybe one year to early for Macleod tho, definately a team on the rise none the less

Monts hardest critics are there own supporters ... Winning finals yes is a mental hurdle for the CLUB due to high external pressure .... But please I wouldn't say jack cole has been a disappointment because they haven't won a flag .... Grand final and semi from a coach who does it for free , good effort I think ... I'm first to admit they've been people there in the past high up who have set the club back a few years , that person isn't in charge anymore which is a good thing as he was the only one to give them an arrogant tag... Seriously time to get over the mont bashing , be grateful our league is where it's at rather than having one or two standout teams
 
Umm no mate.. I meant as if no one from mont thinks they have had a dominant period , they are grounded and know where they sit in terms of ladder position , form line , and competitiveness ... Scrap this arrogance tag as it only washes with you blokes on the outside

Mate I totally agree with what you said about the person not being there anymore.....But to say Jack does it for free is right but Im pretty sure he paid the debt to get the job?? Have you heard this..?
 
Also was anyone else looking forward to a write up on NFL website from Boro v Heid? Would have thought it woud be up by now but no nothing even mentioned, pretty poor I think after it was one cracker of a game...

I agree with there supporters being there hardest critics as boy they are over the top with there expectations.

But the bit about there coach doing it for free or paying off the debt couldn't be further from the truth. That rumour was cleared up to me by some Monty people many times who just laughed at that rumour.

Couldn't agree more, great game that Boro had every chance to win but fell over in the last 10 mins by a strong experienced Heidelberg. Their older heads took control in the last minutes.
Definitely should have been written up but the league is probably too busy editing tapes so no one can see more reportable incidents that would have taken place after the Pavitt, Shaw reports!!!!

Wtf??? Your a dill. Footy is physical and some times it gets heated, that's why we love it. Emotions run wild. You should join the mrp as you sound like a soft **** like they are. Bring back the 70s and 80s style I say, it's what a lot grew up loving.
 
Jack has done it for pretty much next to nothing ... He's buisness is a sponsor of the club as it has been for years .. No one dislikes , nor holds a grudge against him but alot do think he's playing style needs to catch up to the others quite quick ..
It's funny how one man can seriously put a great place like mont back a few steps ... Hopefully next year they recruit right without spending coin on blokes who will last one or two years ...they are making a big push to get a lot of the "true mont" boys back that left a few years ago to get that comradrie and footy club feel back that said person damaged ! All in all I think it was a failed season but a great effort to get back into contention from where they were at the halfway mark ! Good luck to the three teams left, I think the slime or Macleod will win it !
