Any names, I would have thought after what he saw last year he had a plan for 2025. He had to see they needed probably 20 players, at least 8 of those direct 1s players. 20 all up to ensure 2s where competitive and pushing 1s for spots allowing natural competitiveness and improvement.

Departures continue on at the Bulls, you do have to somewhat feel sorry for Scotland after taking on a job that was stuffed from previous coaches. A proud club will continue to fall due to bringing in players who demand $$$$ rather than sticking with what was doing well for them and giving Successful Reserve and Under 19 players a chance.

Yeah they did $$$$$$ he goes players go and were only there for 1 reason now the club is on its knees when mercenaries take off when $$$ dry up and club struggles. Club werent like this before previous coach.

Plenty of clubs spending big money. Main issue is both Bundoora junior sides have fallen over and Yarrambat MOU gone.

Bundoora have just now done something about it trying to launch the juniors again

No. But they have juniors.

Teams like Heidelberg or Montmorency could have 15 players walk out but they know they’ll be replaced with juniors eventually…

Bundoora doesn’t have that luxury and it’s coming home to roost.

Bundoora Snrs wanted nothing to do with Jnrs for years! They were happy to pay big instead of trying to build affiliations through the first Bundoora Bulls jfc then Thunderbolts..

They stuffed themself in the foot

League wants assurances they can field seniors and reserves or there place in Div 1 is not guaranteed! In my opinion they should bite the bullet and go down.

No value in playing Div 1 if your twos are getting flogged every week so the ones can win 3-5 games!

If they play Div 1, I can see it becoming a very embarrassing situation for the league and I don’t think it would be a comfortable outcome they’d accept.

Right now the appeal they have is D1 football. Dropping back would be non sensical and have no advantage.

If they can’t field 2s in D1 where will the players appear from to make it happen in D2
