Sad situation considering their results this year werent all that bad when you really look into it.

They beat hurst by 3pts, mont by 2 pts, beat banyule by 30. The only sides they did not trouble this season were heidelberg and north otherwise they were arguably in every single other game it was just the difference between their best and worse which hurt them. They weren't that bad.

Bit of an over reaction for mine. Their reserves forfeited one game. Other VAFA, EFNL, EDFL premier level teams all did as well.

I don't anyone's claiming they weren't a decent side this year. The issue is looking forward where is the next wave of talent coming from.?

Same could be said for North Heidelberg. They’ve been able to have a decent pathway from Yarrambat but that’s gone now

Embarrassing. Close to a joke to be honest. Over reactions can happen but so can under reactions, if they cannot present detailed signings to show they will field teams it's not an overreaction is a management concern.

I get all that, but clubs from all top divisions had similar stories. Balwyn forfeited a 2s game not long ago.

The league won’t do anything. Any club can produce names claiming they are playing.

Maybe the league needs to set a bench mark. 2 forfeits and a bottom 2 finish they’ll be relegated.
