Looks like they're not happy campers down at Laurimar young Richards got 6 wks

Go through the comments and youll see who I'm talking about . Maybe A very close connection to a club president. And Burgs dont play dumb , you know who it is. Maybe related to a certain player you had a Fair discussion on what was said and done about the 2 yellow cards and Red Cards against Morang LOL.....Also seems strange the Dees Colours have also gone from Burgs 1997 HAHA

I wonder what that commentor and Dees are thinking now. Quite hipocritical to call the Mernda bloke a dog and then their own laurimar player gets 6 weeks for spitting...

Heard there was a brawl at the laurimar netball game with the laurimar team being investigated. Any truth to this? If so the Apple isn’t falling far from the tree with the footy and netball clubs!!!

Pretty poor if you ask me to compare "spitting" which in no way can cause injury to a cowards punch which we have a foundation for in the league for a young man who was killed. Maybe take the anti laurimar bias out of it for 5 seconds

By no means is spitting in the same light as a coward punch but it is still a disgusting act and for Laurimar people to be criticising one foul act yet their own players doing their own acts of foul play you cant really talk... netball brawls, runners running onto the field and hitting players, spitting...another player was out for 10 weeks for striking if I remember seeing correctly?? Anything else to name?

Pretty sure most clubs have incidents throughout the year champ, so by your theory no club should have an opinion on anyone else?

I think what he’s getting at Tiger is the opinions Laurimar people on here have towards other clubs and players , I think that’s all he’s getting at when it seems to be that they ( Laurimar ) have some serious issues on / off field at the moment with their players

Just not a big fan of even putting those two incidents even in the same sentence as an excuse to pot laurimar yet again

Supporters shouldnt comment for other clubs wrong doings when Laurimar cant even sort own their own problems. Fair enough to have an opinion on it everyone is entitled to but to proceed to bag out and call the player names when your own players are causing or have caused similar issues is hypocritical.

12 weeks is a bit over the top to be honest but if it stamps out this sort of stuff permanently I’m all for it.

Laurimar have got some big cultural issues and you can throw the racism stuff in there also. Young club on the move on field but need some serious leadership off field.

I had a look at whittlesea v Thomastown and there was a section which was very heavy but I don’t think it affected the standard of play too heavily.

It appears to be a 1 horse race at present unless Kilmore can replicate there performance from earlier in the season against PH. Laurimar appear shot with average depth and with there forward line decimated the coach will have to step up and have some sort of a finals series. Morang just fell into the 4 and probably done look like doing any damage.

I don't know him or where he's from - After reading the reports on here though, i was half expecting him to be from ISIS...

Everyone’s certainly welcome to their opinion but the league got it right here for me. 12 weeks basically risking someone’s life is if anything light.

This wasn’t an accident, this wasn’t in play. This was a complete blatant cowards punch that could have resulted in death (and has before)

If you think “frustration” is an explanation for a reaction like this then we are at polar opposite ends.

If this kid was banished from football for life I would feel zero sadness for him.

Please enlighten me of a “worse” action. Because punching someone in the back of the head is at the top of my list.

Not sure, maybe ask the current 19’s coach and a couple of his mates I’m hearing they have all the answers apparently Mernda have a open cheque book next year, something they can’t afford to do, but oh well they will move on and someone like a Paul Derrick will have to come back and try to fix it up all over again..!!

How can a player and coach be criticised over a club folding. The club/ committee needs to be held accountable not a player and coach. Players and Coaching staff do the work on the ground and the Committee does the work off it. Strong clubs have a strong committees and put everything in place. Correct me if I'm wrong.
