I was wondering about this. I have seen a few posts about him playing with us in the SANFL next year. Thought it was strange that we were able to have him at our club before he was drafted. Although extremely likely he will end up as a Crow, until he is drafted he still has a chance to end up at another club.Think we are talking about two different things.
Just because he is able to play for our SANFL team does not necessarily mean he can be with the club full time like you're thinking.
You think Geelong mayor Patrick and Lady Mayoress Mardi will allow George Dangerfield to play for the Adelaide Crows?what about a future dangerfield?
we could always release 'THOSE' photo's we have of Danger..the same ones he doesn't know about but we make him think we have..wink wink..nod..nodYou think Geelong mayor Patrick and Lady Mayoress Mardi will allow George Dangerfield to play for the Adelaide Crows?
I've been keeping an eye on the junior leagues to see how he is going but he never gets a mention (unless he's injured)?Wont it be Michalanney, Michalanney, and Welsh?

So how does it work next year if he decides to play with us, can he train with our SANFL squad only and not the AFL squad? Is he able to access our medical staff?

The 29-year-old, a triple leading goalkicker with the Crows, quit after failing to come to terms with the club on a new contract.
"The club is disappointed the negotiations couldn't be resolved," Crows football operations manager John Reid said in a statement.
"The basic fundamental difference was Scott being offered a one-year contract by the club, and him requiring a one-year contract with trigger points to a second year related to performance and behaviour.
"Unfortunately the behaviour issues this year were significant to the point that the club believed Scott needed to have a season where there were no behavioural issues at all before it would negotiate another season."
Here's hoping there's no bad blood.Scott Welsh quits Adelaide Crows

So what led to Scott Welsh leaving Adelaide? I can't remember now.
Also, does Tyler support the club, and does his dad hang out at the club nowadays
Don't remember this. What a colossal stuff up. Why do we contine to engage the Reid family?Scott Welsh quits Adelaide Crows

Why are you talking about??Don't remember this. What a colossal stuff up. Why do we contine to engage the Reid family?
didn't we have a rule about 1 year contracts for 30 year olds? Not surprising to learn the Crows in that era were more concerned with short 1 year contracts for "bad boys" than focusing on a contract appropriate for a guy kicking 2 goals a game and leading our goal kicking
Shouldn't have any impact with this though
Tyler would tower over Scott atm. Here he is, back at the club in 2017 with Tyler (wearing scarf).
