Player Watch Nick Daicos

It was weird to watch. He is so damaging when given the opportunity but could have been easily nullified with a tag.

Why wouldn’t you tag him??

Blicavs seemed to be tagging Mitchell for most of the game - at least at CBA's. I'm not sure whether Geelong would run two tags or minders, which left Daicos to do whatever he wanted.

They also tagged JDG with Atkins

Who do you tag, Mitch or Nick?
They will still have a field day either way.
Nick is unstoppable on his day and Mitch much the same.

Personally I’d tag nick every time. He gets less of his own ball at the moment (this will change as he gets stronger) so I think is easier to tag. Plus he is more damaging with his possessions.

O'Connor tagged him in the first qtr. Why that didn't continue the rest of the game is anyone's guess. It's not like O'Connor is good for anything else.

"He was football's Halley's Comet. Flashing across the landscape for a brief yet spectacular period"
I think you might be too young to have seen Halley's comet. Hyped enormously about how spectacular it was going to be, but it was a tiny little blob in the sky.

Love watching Nick and Josh play together.
Nick the little general already at 25 games into what will be one of the great Collingwood careers.
Lucky to have Pendles to train with for the first few years too.
Going to be a great watch over the next 15 yrs, can't wait.

Oh and how good to see Peter after the game, what a family.

It’s weird, but I don’t think we have hyped him up enough!?!
He’s death by a thousand cuts, Nick. Never wastes a possession, and like pendles, always does something that leads to a goal, or chain of play to get us out of trouble. So smart and clean…

he’s a seagull and a stat crab that doesn’t win contested possessions … haha the salt of oppo supprters makes this kid even better
Any Carlton supporters who say that are either jealous they couldn’t coax him there or don’t know/forgot who Craig Bradley is.
