Yes the bye is the logical point or perhaps the game before to give him a really good freshen up.He had 19 @ 95% he can have a rest at the bye

Nick Daicos been Solid but looks a Bit Tired to me
Quietest game of the year, still better than JHF's best game
it's Daicos vs Ginnivan, other guy hasnt even been nominated yet!Quietest game of the year, still better than JHF's best game

That's not really how the award works. There is absolutely nobody close, with Rachele going goalless two weeks in a row.Nick has been a solid contributor way beyond his years. I’m wrapt that he’s a huge part of our future.
IMHO - he needs a couple flashy games kicking goals and with a couple party tricks to be rising star material.
And I acknowledge that he is already a victim of expectation.
He does have some of Pendles' time & space ability.
He does, but for me he looks to get that from working hard as much as anything.
Which isn't to say Pendlebury doesn't work hard. He has just made it look unbelievably calm in the cauldron for 15 years.
Playing high half forward he isn’t gunna get as many touches. He is trill using it very nicely
There's a blonde small forward going OK.That's not really how the award works. There is absolutely nobody close, with Rachele going goalless two weeks in a row.

That would be the ultimate..if the son of one of the greatest small forwards ever seen gets beaten by a small forward who happens to be his teammate!!!There's a blonde small forward going OK.
It would be good if they tiedThat would be the ultimate..if the son of one of the greatest small forwards ever seen gets beaten by a small forward who happens to be his teammate!!!
Co-winners?There's a blonde small forward going OK.
It's a hard comparison to find I think. Maybe Ben Cousins (Please no!!) - but I think he'll be more incisive.
Not sure Rachele has done anything more than Ginnivan. In fact, Ginnivan has been forced to absorb more pressure and still delivers. That's not really how the award works. There is absolutely nobody close, with Rachele going goalless two weeks in a row.
Even Daic's Snr wasn't a huge standout in his very early days - I watched him from the start and you could see he had IT but it was simply a matter of building into it.He's been solid without being spectacular. To be fair this isn't looking like a bumper first round group of draftees. JHF has been underwhelming. Callaghan has been good. Rachele has shown a bit. I've actually been most impressed by Gibcus. The rest nothing special so far, albeit some haven't debuted.
Nick Martin has been the pick of the first year players imo, but is older than all of them so perhaps less of a ceiling.
I have noticed Daicos doesn't seem to be able to flight his kicks, mostly just slow floaters, needs to work on kicking it lower and faster when needed. Seems like it was a knock on him(one of the only ones) pre draft as I found the following quote from a draft profile "A slight knock on him is his tendency to air his kicks on the run, inviting pressure on the receiver or allowing opposition defenders more time to intercept".
Precisely, but Rachele had been on fire in his first 3 or 4 games. He was the only early competition really. Not sure Rachele has done anything more than Ginnivan. In fact, Ginnivan has been forced to absorb more pressure and still delivers.
This is just a peculiar statement. 25 disposals per game playing as a 19 year-old flanker is undoubtedly spectacular. He's been solid without being spectacular. The previous year's top picks are still playing reserves. This is just a peculiar statement. 25 disposals per game playing as a 19 year-old flanker is undoubtedly spectacular.
