Could be absolutely anything, but he has far more to learn about the game than Kreuz did.

Exactly, if we are going to compare him to current players on our list Hampson is a much closer comparison, both have unbelievable athletic attributes and are relatively new to the game of AFL.

And as far as that comparison goes, Hampson is 201cm with an 86cm vertical leap and Naitanui is 197cm with an 87cm vertical leap.

Looks like we have the best of both worlds already :thumbsu:

Thats an interesting Stat I thought Nat had the greatest vertical leap by far....

On The Couch on Monday night is source of Naitanui's 87cm vertical leap, I'll wait on draft camp results to confirm...

Yeah seems strange since they were saying could almost represent Fiji in high jump at the olympics.. I thought he was very special... He is only 197cm and his jump will dissipate during games, you'd expect he may struggle a lil at boundary throw ins against the big guys etc.. Will be very interesting to see how he used..

Well he doesnt he jumps over them.

He isnt being touted as a number 1 draft pick for his jump alone.

He takes a contested grab, tackles fiercely, chases down mids, does all the one percenters and is as fast across the turf as anyone has seen from a bloke his size.

His clearance work is outstanding.

Yeah I know he jumps over them but if Hampson has the same size leap then why isn't he jumping over anyone...

Not sure if he will be allowed to jump over people at boundary throwins at AFL level...

Yup, Naita actually reminds me a bit of Kreuzer in this respect....he doesn't stop working at the tap out and provides another clearance player at the contest......works hard around the ground to run to position, runs down opponents, tackles fiercely (they are rarely broken) seems to have a similar drive to be involved in the play as much as possible. Will be a coaches dream :thumbsu:

#cough cough# suck up

Jealous much?

Did you expect a POTW nomination for suggesting that Pratt should not be trusted to fit another big name into our salary cap because of Visy's $36M fine or for suggesting that Melbourne will qualify for a priority pick before round 1 this year? :p

Yeah very good post with examples.... To be honest I don't see enough of Carlton.. I haven't seen anything like Nat before though I hope he can do what he does in the WAFL at AFL it will be a great spectacle..

bahaha

yeah i am devastated, my whole well being revolves around POTW, I honestly don't know what I am going to do anymore??? lol

no kudos to you, solid pics.

But honestly with Pratt, are you not a little bit worried that he is a little bit sketchy?

I am extremely grateful for what Dick has done so far.

All I am worried about, is that we are in the position we have been in for the last 6 years due to rorting the salary cap once. I just don't want to see it happen again, I love this club to much.

This has been done to death in so many threads already...but to answer your question as simply and directly as possible, without opening a can of worms:

No, not even a little bit worried.

...and after the way the AFL made an example of us and bent us over I don't think any club in the AFL would risk flirting with the salary cap.
