Has anyone received their membership renewal in the mail yet? My mother still hasn’t received anything and she has a reserved seat. I’m worried she may lose her seat.

I called the Membership Department and was told that renewals are being sent out today and should arrive Monday or Tuesday. Cut-off for retaining the same reserved seat is Friday 23rd which doesn’t give people much time. However, the guy I spoke to was able to add an ‘extension’ to my mother’s account to give her more time.

nope, many members are yet to receive it and with cut off date for reserved seating on 23rd November is shit organisation.

Nearly 3k behind at same time last year after a decent year on field where we were unlucky to miss finals.
Pretty good off season recruiting yet we’re langushing.

There's no basis for that Snake. It may be true, but I'd be surprised. Facts are we're down on last year. That's the only fact. Maybe people are planning what they'll be doing for the last 2 months of winter without a football game to go to on the weekends...

Anecdotally, I think there might also be a bit of backlash about everyone being placed on automatic membership renewal without opting in. A number may have taken themselves off and thus there are less auto renewals as compared to last year.

I'm sure there are. Personally I think it is extremely unlikely that the average fence sitting member is anxiously awaiting these details before committing to a membership though.

This heart burn about tallies before Xmas...our budget gets smashed with two birthdays, a wedding anniversary and Xmas in the space of a month

There’s possibly a fair few like me who are definitely going to sign up but waiting on the replacement game details to decide which membership to get.

That cut-off date is hyperbole. Last season one of our group was relinquishing their seat so a friend rang the Club,AFTER THE SPECIFIED CUT OFF DATE, and asked for the seat to be assigned to them. Was told that the original seat holder needed to contact the Club first and confirm they no longer needed it.

No way I am paying $550 for 7 games with reserved seats until I know the seating arrangements for the replacement games.
Have MCC membership so can get Level 2 seats for $48. Loyalty goes two ways and imo, Club is ditching loyal members for shot term profit.

For the longest time we used to just renew at the tent outside the game during the first round. I only stopped doing that when I moved to a Schimma membership that had reserved seating, never used the seating but had to pay for it early regardless.

Out of bean counting curiosity, do you have the capacity to put a little bit aside during the year so you aren't hit hard during December? Not suggesting this so you can buy a membership early, just to avoid getting hammered around December too much.
