I'm sure it is, and it's been the common thread with Australia for the last 20 years. Starc is great when he has runs to bowl at, but he bowls too many run scoring deliveries. Australia don't have enough runs to play with. Despite the 2-0 lead, Smith, Carey and Warner have been horrendous in this series so far.

Smith made a ton and was player of the match last test.

Those 80 lost runs would be handy….and the singles that keep coming…
but hey lm sure there will be some learnings.
This run chase by their standards should have been done by now….it’s been meh. Bazeball is defunct.

too many injuries to them….where we have players that should and could darn well click that are ordinary at the moment.

Lots of questions that need some serious consideration before next test indeed. Could have been in a better position… but that’s cricket.
But with the approaching result ….( faint chance of a collapse) we move on with 2 :1 lead.
Interested in what changes will be made and why to the side…
If we change our batting order…..as Warner at opening should be looked at.
