250 was never going to be enough. I always felt it was a toss up with that lead. We shat the bed with the bat in the second innings. 300 was the total needed to defend. The pitch turned into a road after the rain.

I'd go as far as to say it's time Labuschagne started giving a bit more with the bat, and a bit less with the mouth.

I love test cricket. Had to switch off when they had about 6 runs to go and it was finally impossible but that’s three nail biting matches in a row where one team just was a bit better for a bit longer and made better decisions at key points.

England made the most of their chances in Headingley, that's test cricket. It's been a pretty close series and those moments count. Australia have won 3 of their last 4 in the UK, I'd back that track record to get it done over the rest of the month*

Agree. By the time the deficit was down to less than 100, it was too late to bring Murphy on. You can't bring a young spinner on that early. He should have been given a few overs early in the day to work into a groove.
