Interesting article saying that Warner has been been given more chances on less evidence than any other Australian batsman ever has, especially given his performances since the sandpaper thing, and wondering if it’s because Australian cricket feels they owe him for quietly taking most of the responsibility and consequences for that scandal.
My mate has a conspiracy theory that really the bowlers did know about the tampering, and that Warner agreed to be the fall guy, but is now threatening to release evidence that the bowlers knew about it if they drop him. Basically, he’s blackmailing CA to keep him in the team. Far-fetched and almost certainly not true, but an interesting thought!

Is your mate Malcolm Knox, because that's the not too subtle sub text to the Age article. Personally, I can't see someone like Pat Cummins standing for it, but we'll probably never know (unless of course Warner is dropped and tells all)

Guaranteed the bowlers knew, guaranteed Warner will release it all one day, unsure if Pat would sit by and cop blackmail, but not too far fetched when you look at all the actions.

I am also thinking of playing cricket in the summer just to do something fun whilst having pre season

Thinking I’d be an all rounder? I can bowl (can’t spin bowl lol) I can kinda bat

Any tips?

Have we checked that they are using two-sided coins in England? I don’t think we’ve won a single coin toss through either the men’s or women’s Ashes series so far.

In an absolute nailbiter Aus have done it, won the game on the final ball with England needing a 4 to tie.

Great innings chasing by Sciver-Brunt (111 n.o. From 99 balls) who faced the final ball. But alas…….

Well done ladies and thanks to you all for providing a better finish to the bloody weekend.

The Ashes (or is it women’s aka WAshes or Girls’ aka GAshes?) remain in our hands.

What's the odds?

England's bowling attack is almost perfect to roll us if they produce another pitch like last time.
Saw someone in Manchester suggesting everyone brim snorkels, so yeah if they want to win it will be a green top and they’ll hope they win the toss.

I’m a big believer in having a toss for the first game and then alternate who gets to chose if they bat or bowl after that.
