Under leadership of Christina Matthews, Western Australia has won all three men's titles for the last two years, they've secured more than $100 million for the new redevelopment, and she made a deal with CA to ensure we get quality timeslots for tests for the next few years.

Not sure what else she could have done to win more public support, tbh.
My golden retriever could have done the job for the same
Results. It was JL and now Voges who have been great. The women’s team were full of stars which had nothing to do with CM. She was awful as the CEO. Many board members left because of her over the years. The office was silent with many people not knowing what cricket was. It was so boring.

They really should train monkeys to do the camera control for reviews, they'd probably get a better result than the guys who do it at the moment.

I swear every review the third umpire asks very clearly for them to do something, only for them to do the opposite, and continue to do the opposite for 20-30s.

i.e on that last one
"Can you please keep moving through the vision?"
operator starts to rock the vision back and forth
"No, keep going through please"
rocks even more
"Keep the vision going so I can check hotspot"

It's like they're taking the piss at times

The acurate one as a self appointed shitmen, what's your take on this Paki side?
Good ordinary club grade cricket side. These type of games do nothing to enhance the sport. They need to be stopped. Anyways make a comp for test matches around the world. Break up the players into different sides but still keep the ashes.

I haven't watched a ball bowled and I won't bother wasting my time

Well that was as bad as everyone feared. Fox were full of "You can't fault Pakistan's effort" and "Sometimes you're just beaten by a better side" but Pakistan were pathetic. They fell way behind by drinks in the first session on Day 1 and never made up any ground at any stage. They dragged their arse along the ground through the first innings and although today's pitch was poor, no one showed any skill or fight or grit. Their fielding is ordinary and bowling attack thin. Throw in the poor attendance and that was a dull start to what could be a dull summer.

Well done to Australia on a very polished and even performance. You can only beat who's in front of you but they really didn't have a lot of opposition.

Another one sided test. Test cricket in OZ is in a mess with these results. No wonder people are not turning up to watch it anymore. They want a contest. Test cricket in UK is entertaining and evenly fought but all other test cricket is failing to appeal. Its a shame

Wait to the West Indies arrive. They will be even worse
Most likely, but the game wont grow if all we do is play India & Eng only.. with a smattering of NZ games

Bangladesh and Afghanistan would be good from a contest and game development, I miss the old Windies but I still enjoy the atmosphere at the games, Pakistan always are inconsistent within a game which does make it compelling... Saffers I don't have much fondness for but they usually provide good opposition... Sri Lanka usually has gold surrounded by abysmal...

Zimbabwe are.... a team

Its important to have these teams play here, against the better quality opposition... even if the results don't exactly appeal... also allows us to rotate players through, given a few players will retire in the next series or two
