Former Australian cricket captain Ricky Ponting has been taken to hospital after reportedly suffering a heart scare during day three of the first Test between Australia and the West Indies in Perth.

Ponting, one of Australia’s greatest ever batsmen, is Channel 7’s star commentator but left the ground around lunch time and missed the afternoon sessions.

Ponting has reportedly told his colleagues he is feeling alright but wanted to take every possible precaution after feeling unwell.

“Ricky Ponting is unwell and will not be providing commentary for the remainder of today’s coverage,” a Channel 7 spokesperson said.

All 4 innings averaged around that mark, Victoria then used 14 players, pulling 2 out of club cricket and using a staff member in the field.

So down a keeper, a fast bowler and a spinner, Victoria win by 69 runs and Wil Sutherland is judged player of the match. WTAF!!!
