So it's your assertation that the true-blue roos barrackers were staying away in droves during your nigh extinction, JUST because you were playing 4 games a year at the Gold Coast/Canberra?!

This poster can't even spell 'already'. Seriously that's what, a grade two, perhaps grade three word. I'm tipping he is about 12, 13 tops. Why is anyone even bothering to argue with him?
Take care that you never spell a word wrong. Always before you write a word, consider how it is spelled, and, if you do not remember, turn to a dictionary. It produces great praise to a lady to spell well.
It's speculation ; but yes, I do believe that a number of potential members were turned off by the mismanagement of the club in recent years, and the constant, excessively negative speculation in the media about the club's future. I wasn't one of them, but I could understand why some would not bother, if they actually believed all the doom and gloom that was so regularly reported as a 'done deal'.
Fortunately, the club has resolved to sink or swim as North Melbourne FC, based in Melbourne. I reckon there is every chance of survival, and if that annoys a few clueless Dawks.....................good.

As you and your North brethren are more than aware, there is a certain amount of hostility that I hold towards your club. I rarely fail to post in threads that put you to the sword or have at dip at the cross-dresser. I have, however, decided long ago that it tears at the fabric of a person's being to lose their football club. I have a passion for mine that my partner has remarked could, at times, be stronger than the bond I have with my children. As such I refrain from petty insults regarding the demise of the Kangaroos. I believe that wishing that particular fate on any supporter is akin to wishing serious injury on any player and is reprehensible in the extreme.
Having stood near the precipice ourselves, I am sure there would be many brown and gold supporters who would agree with my stance. Please do not tar us all with the same brush.
Maybe it is that your very existance is vital for me to maintain my antipathy, but I will always support North's right to survive in the competition. More than that I cannot guarantee....

The one thing I don't understand is why people from other clubs bought memberships for north. Isn't it up to their own supporters to save the club. I mean surely they cant rely on non-north supporters to renew their membership for 10+ years?

agreed.....spelling is the one true way to pick morons in this place, and this guy has ticked all the boxes.
Other club's supporters bought memberships when NMFC was RIGHT on the precipice. The necessary boost has been achieved, and now they are on there own.
Fly like QANTAS Kangas, but mind the fuselage...
If you're thinking on the lines I suspect, that would require a lot of $, so I'll say no on the expenses.
But it would make for sensational listening!
