They are either going to have some crude form of swear filter or just not worry about it. The universe will be that big anyway, it will probably be quite rare that your stumble upon another creature someone else has named.

i will name mine after australian cities and suburbs with an alpha numeric suffix using a hexi-decimal code representing swear words and the order in which i discovered it.

for example: Dubbo 43 75 6e 74 - 1

decoded: Dubbo campaigners - 1

Looks incredible. Plenty of things to keep you busy. Only thing I'm a little concerned about are the travel times between planets...traveling to that moon said it would take 17 minutes and space gameplay didn't look all that involved/entertaining. Not really keen on spending that long holding down a button and doing not much else, but there could be something I'm missing or that hasn't been shown off yet.

I don't think they'll make it too hard to use though otherwise the game would become pretty tedious if you spent most of your time travelling through space.

My interest has risen again but did he say something about the overall galaxy being that large that you will very unlikely come to other players planets?
Just interested with the naming (planets, animals) if it's going to be basically just you witnessing them anyway?

I was under the impression if somebody gave you their coordinates, and you had enough hyper drive fuel, you could fly to them?
