Can't say it's an overly interesting update personally, but hey it gives people something extra to do without impacting anything else. Deepwater jetpack could be OK.

They'll probably be saving the good shit for Worlds Part 2

After jumping back into my main save after the last expedition I was quite devastated to find my squid ship missing from my freighter.

Exit the freighter, warp out, warp back, dock again, I think that fixes it. Pretty sure it's a common issue.

Finished Aquarius. Was actually kind of fun. I guess when you've done everything and there's nothing left to do but potter around, anything new is welcome. Now I can try to collect every fish.

Pretty easy so far. Finished the first phase in an hour or so.

I don't think I've done a single expedition. They don't interest me at all. Just give me base game content.

They're not too bad, though I've only done one or two. They usually come out when I'm deep into playing something else.

What does this mean? If I'm understanding correctly base game content additions are usually introduced via an expedition.

They are, but a lot of this stuff is also only found in the expedition. Like certain planet types only appear in certain expeditions as an example. Sure in most cases they make it to the game as whole but there is a bit that is still expedition exclusive.

As I write this it sounds like I am complaining about free content, which isn't the case, just venting that it's not for me.
