Great news with the AFL forcing Carlton to play their home games at Optus next year to fulfill contractual arrangements. Which means we will not have to play a home game there next year! I am obviously devestated as you all know how much I love that ground:rolleyes:

Carlton to play only 6 games at Optus.......the rest to be shared out.......whoo ha:rolleyes: ;) :p
The article I read said the AFL were going to force Carlton there to fulfill the contract. If for example they want to transfer Carlton v Richmond to the MCG, it still comes under the 9 game contract at Optus Oval.

I read that one too. I only want us to have to play there IF we are the away team and have zero say in the matter.
