Obviously the AFL/Channel 7 don't have a fair dinkum interest in promoting the game here in Qld. For ****'s sake the AFL are putting a team on the Gold Coast & yet they won't allow people in SE Qld to watch a game between 2 x Top 8 teams. Channel 7 are an absolute disgrace. I for one will not be watching many of their programs from herein & I hope they lose the broadcast rights next time round. Whichever political party axes the anti-siphoning laws will get my vote. FTA TV deserves to die.

Surely if channel 7 choose not to telecast it then foxtel should have the right to play it live.
Even 7HD...otherwise what's the point in having two channels?

I went out last Sunday and watched at 7.30 instead of taking advantage of a miracle, but would probably stay in this Sunday if a miracle appeared before me.Same deal as last time. Sorry to intrude on your thread guys, but surely something needs to be done to stop this nonsense. two weeks in a row for you boys ... one week is enough for me ... and i should be trying to avoid the footy if i was serious ... lets make some noise though - they want to promote the game up here and this is the best they can do - come on ... lets get serious about it. GO THE HAWKS!!!
If only Fox Sports were allowed to show the game on Main Event.... Channel 10 allow this, why do Channel 7 have to be such ***wits?
