If the weather forecast is accurate India will have to win this in 4 days. Tuesday looks like a washout.
Should get close to 4 full days.

That is enough for most tests, and the wicket looks green. Glad they didn't produce a road to guarantee the series win.

Weather forecasts for 5 days in advance are never that accurate, rain could easily come overnight and we get nothing during the day.

Why do Victorians get so lippy about the weather in Sydney when the SCG test is on.

Insecurity we have a better harbour, beaches and everything in general.

Our weather year round shits on Melbourne

They’re also the reason why the NSW-bias myth exists. Nothing more as a justification for why their state is so sh** at producing test cricketers. It’s an inferiority complex that Victorians have. They always have to try and be better than NSW and if they’re not, it’s someone else’s fault (NSW themselves don’t seem to give a ****) - it’s pathetic tbh.

I went to the Grade Cricketer show last night in Sydney.

Not sure how many listen to it generally and been to any Perth shows.

But they had Ponting as the guest. And they brought Gilly on as a surprise after halftime for ask TGC.

It was one of the all time great nights

They have ramped it up since I went in the UK 2019 ashes series Birmingham show early days of there live shows.

Australia really do the test summer well compared with other nations.

Adelaide Oval day night test is terrific by adding the twilight and night element

Boxing day test crowds are insane

Sydney pink ball test

Test cricket is alive in Aus. Other nations host tests but they don't have the same public buy in

Just need to figure out how to get Optus going in tests.

Respect? Where has Indias respect been this hole series? Where was Virats respect when he shouldered Konstas during his first game?

Well I hope he improves with different opposition because he’s an enormous talent and imo he doesn’t need to be carrying on the way he does. Also, I think other than Kohli’s appalling effort, the Indians have been okay.

Konstas needs to learn some respect, not just for the opposition but for the game itself.
His behaviour reminds me a little bit of Harley Reid actually on a few occasions this year when he was strutting around Optus stadium like he owned the joint.

I appreciate a bit of excitement and talent as much as anyone, but the arrogance riles up opposition fans and teams unnecessarily and usually comes back to bit you in the ass, as Ponting pointed out

Kohli shoulder charges him and gets SFA punishment, and Konstas is the one who needs to learn respect? The ICC have effectively said it is OK for the Indians to go after him. The ICC and India are the ones to blame in this. Not Konstas.

Three times Indian players (Kohli on Boxing Day, Bumrah while having a sook about Khawaja doing what every Indian batsmen does, then Bumrah after the wicket) have unnecessarily gone off their line and targeted Konstas. This is cricket, not footy.

It's the senior Indian players who need to pull their head in. They are a disgrace to the game.

Konstas is an annoying little prick, but I am 100% on his side in all of this.

What did he actually do though?

He didn't really do much at all. Bumrah started having a massive sook about Khawaja. And all Konstas did was shrug and say "he wasn't ready". Probably should have said nothing, but it wasn't a big deal until Bumrah decided he wouldn't actually bowl and went at him. Konstas rightfully decided he wasn't having a bar of that. Then Bumrah rushed at him after the wicket and Konstas did nothing.

Bumrah is lucky he didn't take a few more steps and copped a swinging bat in self defense.

100%, im all for calling out arrogant knobheads and from what I can tell, Konstas seems to have the unbearable ego you'd expect from a 19 year old playing for Australia but all he seemed to say was "he's wasnt ready".

The carry on from India was pathetic as you'd expect from a team that knows they can shoulder charge an oppo player with no repercussions.

I’m not talking about the Kohli thing. He 100% should have been suspended for that.

I’m talking about being a debutante needing more than one innings where he performs to be able to do that ridiculous clapping thing to get the crowd going. Save that for T20. Keep out of whatever was going on with Bumrah, focus on what you’re supposed to be doing. There’s not one other player in the Australian team who behaves the way he does. Even the arrogant twat Warner never did.

Maybe I’m a traditionalist, but just because the other team are campaigners, doesn’t mean you have to be one too. Respect the red ball game, your teammates (and the oppo if they’ve early it). I guess that’s what I’m saying.
