Why do Victorians get so lippy about the weather in Sydney when the SCG test is on.

Insecurity we have a better harbour, beaches and everything in general.

Our weather year round shits on Melbourne
I moved to Melbourne in 2013 & love it except for the beaches, & back in Perth I went to the beach A LOT.
Sydney never grabbed me, except for the harbour.
But to each their own

Sydney sucks.

Too many westys.
Too many Eastern Suburb toffs.
Too many cars.
Too many stripper bars.
Too much gun violence.
Too much rust on the harbour bridge.
And the opera house looks faded in real life.

Team Melbourne for me.

You lot are showing your age. Konstas has immediately changed the way that line up plays. Bumrah is so good that he will get you every time if your goal is survival. Konstas has had the courage to take name plates off and forget about reputation.
He's the first batsman to make Bumrah react and change how he's bowling.

The Indians are literally doing their best to physically intimidate him.

It shits me that people criticise confidence and arrogance. They're playing a sport where those traits are gold.

Konstas is a grade cricketer sketch come to life who also happens to be one of the greatest talents since the war. It's chefskiss.gif

Anyway what the **** was Bumrah doing running across the pitch at him that's embarrassing behaviour for a regular player, let alone a captain. He won't be accountable (let's be honest if an Australian fast bowler did that they'd get a level 2 charge) but they really should realise that no matter how annoying they find his Simple Jack antics the moment they react he's won.

I’m not talking about the Kohli thing. He 100% should have been suspended for that.

I’m talking about being a debutante needing more than one innings where he performs to be able to do that ridiculous clapping thing to get the crowd going. Save that for T20. Keep out of whatever was going on with Bumrah, focus on what you’re supposed to be doing. There’s not one other player in the Australian team who behaves the way he does. Even the arrogant twat Warner never did.

Maybe I’m a traditionalist, but just because the other team are campaigners, doesn’t mean you have to be one too. Respect the red ball game, your teammates (and the oppo if they’ve early it). I guess that’s what I’m saying.
The opposition should be respected until they show they aren't worth respecting IMO. India haven't been since Sachin Tendulkar's era and even then they had w**kers like Harbhajan, Kumble, Sreesanth, Ganguly etc.

MS Dhoni and Yuvraj were the last players left that played for India and played the game in a respectable manner. The egos and self entitlement is off the charts from the team, it's management and it's fans.

Tbh England is a historical rivalry and nothing else - India are just w**kers and I'd be happy for England to beat them by an innings each time they play. Not everyone would agree with that but that's my genuine opinion. A lot of England's cricketers would be likable if not for the Ashes rivalry (especially that a number of their genuine w**kers retired/got dropped recently).

I wonder who the (East Coast)CA will scapegoat out of the team after this collapse now there’s no West Aussies left in the side?
The only player that will get dropped is the bloke that took 4/31 in the first innings as soon as the incumbent is fit again.

I didn't realise it's been since we last held this Border-Gavaskar Trophy. It's no wonder these Indian players are so determined not to be the team that gives it up. Think there has to be more than just the Ashes if Test cricket is going to survive.

Mitch Marsh a scapegoat?

Interesting choice of words when the national side just won a test match by 180 runs. Scapegoat for what exactly?

Not to mention his performance which has been dreadful most of his test career. Not sure there’s been a worse performing player play 40+ tests for Australia - his brother would be close but falls a few tests short.

Nah not really, I know deep down it was warranted, but FMD guys like Labo and Khwaja get a gifted run.
Marnus has the 3rd most runs this series for Australia.

We're struggling to replace 1 opener. Khawaja gets to stay for that reason.
