I really don't want to barrack for Geelong against Richmond next week. I really don't. C'mon Eagles. Lift!
God I couldn't stand either winning the flag. Richmond supporters have become the most arrogant in the AFL, like the last 30+ years of mediocrity never happened. Then Geelong have just been my most hated team ever since I first started watching footy as a kid

Apparently its umpires fault (despite having 8 more free kicks), or Rioli's fault that they lost tonight according to some Eagles fans

Dangerfield, Ablett, Kelly, be lucky if either of the three crack 20 possessions for the game at this rate. Aside from Selwood, the cats stars and midfield has largely been quiet today, their depth and middle players have taken their share of the load tonight and helped the Cats get up. Just a reminder why depth is important, and the strength of your bottom few players. Something we needed when our stars and midfield went missing vs GWS.

Really disappointing result. Can't stand those tossers. Hope Richmond spank them next week as little as I want them to win it all again.

Absolutely dominated in contested possessions and broke even in clearances despite NN and Hickey having a free jump for the majority of the game.

Guthrie definitely stood up today, was huge. Thought Kelly was fairly influential without getting a heap of it. Dangerfield didn't have a great game at ground level but was the most influential in the air. Must've taken 4 or 5 pack marks

Definitely agree with the statement but Geelong generally aren't the best example. Their bottom tier regular let's them down.

It was West Coasts bottom tier tonight. Half the team with 10 touches or less

Can Tom Hawkins go near a football without BT announcing that he kicks the ball left-to-right?

I had the sound down. Did he go with the one two sucker punch of mentioning "Micky Turners Geelong Falcons Football Factory?"

If Hawkins doesn’t get at least a week the AFL should just stop reporting blokes and give up
Contact with the head / intentional / moderate impact. Ought to be 3-4 weeks but the head isn't THAT sacrosanct any more (just ask Bont).

Surely has to be 1-2 weeks though.

Hawkins has to get at least a week, and can't see how they win without him. There whole forward structure is built around Hawkins.
Would also be their last realistic shot at a Premiership for the Cats. If as expected they lose Kelly and the aging core of their team. Probably still make finals due to home ground advantage, just don't see them threatening

Hes their most important player. They can cover their mids thisyear because they bat so deep.

Should get a week. Always thoughtt hese head punches are worse than bumps.
International and high.

Two sets of primary statistics Geelong versus West Coast, Geelong versus Collingwood a great exercise
in how an opponent can shape your output.

Tom Hawkins - wear a suit, plead guilty, apologise, look remorseful, accept the fine, walk out smirking - you know how it goes

‘I didn’t do nuffin I tells ya, it was me bad upbringin. I’m the real victim here, but if I did somefing wrong, then I’m sorry.’
