I'm not yet sure what colours he'll be wearing. I'll find out prior to the Half Time siren of the main match.

He's only seven. :thumbsu:
When my young bloke was 5-6 we were at the Wesley College family day having a kick of the footy after it had finished. Rodney Eade was walking back to his car, saw me and as we knew each other slightly, he came over and said hello.
My young bloke started kicking snaps and dribbles trying to impress him.
Round 1 teams come out and a debutant with our (uncommon) surname gets named. I told my young bloke the other teams scouts saw him when he was trying to impress Rocket and now he had to play for them.
He went to his room for a while and then came out and said 'but it's a night game, it's past my bedtime'.

Haha here’s me searching the Richmond and Port websites.
Good luck to your wee one. In ten years’ time I hope you’ll be announcing he’s been drafted 😀

Entrecote has claimed Melbourne teammates Steven May and Jake Melksham broke the venue’s reception desk during their altercation on Sunday night.

The one account I've heard of the experience is how well the kids are looked after and the mothers, no doubt with an eye to the future of the code. It should be a great night for you all.

So did the Dockers suspend Fredrick because he had a few beers after the win? No incident, no bad behaviour, just a few beers and as they are on a 6 day break the club is penalising him. Gee whizz.

Sooooo Melbourne.

Two players fighting in Greville Street outside a fine dining establishment.

Apparently the stoush started with a dispute about which wine better matched the Foie gras, and then degenerated into an argumemt over which is the best series of beamer.
Final straw was when they disagreed over the relative merits of Buller vs Falls Creek for opening of the season...

50/50 split across the whole club on that one.

Not so, the final straw was a heated argument over mulled wine versus a decantered Grange at room temperature. I'm with the decanterted Grange camp. Mulled f....ing wine! It's so compromised it's not a wine at all. Philistine!, I'd have whacked him too!....or at least got the help to.

Tom McDonald out for months with a foot operation, Brown hasn’t kicked a goal for the last three games, May on the booze, pigeons are coming home to roost for Melbourne.

When’s bedtime? Might need a sub …

Bombers on the front page of the HS with some fluff piece about Sheedy’s ‘Best Bombers team’. What a joke of a rag.

You're late coming this conclusion.

Surgery from an infection due to a fight last night?

That’s an obvious lie. So how bad is the real story?

You run a reasonable chance of infection if you break your skin on somebody else's teeth.

True, but it I think Little G's point is it takes time for an infection to develop and be detectable. Maybe May and Melksham have a fight regularly and the infection is from a previous fight, or maybe Melksham fights a different team-mate each time, but May doesn't brush his teeth!

It can happen pretty quickly, one thing I read said the swelling can start within hours. It’s called a fight bite. Nasty, nasty wound, he’ll be out for a bit.

I was dinning two tables away at Entrecôte and was about to begin their lovely 3 course dinner of Frenchness when it all went down.

The who thing started when Melksham referred to Mays halitosis as being akin to that of a Komodo Dragon.

True story.

The video Melbourne made May do apologies is all the levels of cringe. What was the point if that?

Was Melksham frothing at the mouth? Has May been tested for rabies?
