But unless it's absolutely incontrovertibly clear from video evidence that it should never have been awarded they will argue about it for years, saying it was definitely a free.

By contrast a FK count of 26-7 with lots and lots of dodgy decisions going their way and none Geelong's way, and them only winning by a few points would be indefensible (except by the 1% of lunatics who aren't worth debating with anyway).

And as a bonus it would start a whole decade of Geelong whingeing "we wuz robbed" which would be brilliant, especially if it was their last hurrah with their current list.

He doesn't have the tank to do it all game and having to actually jump at the centre bounce is very different to being allowed to maul and throw aside your opponent.
