Carlton had a 9 week period in the middle of the season where they were comfortable the third worst team in the comp and finished the season fifth.

It really puts to light how badly you have to play to finish below that.

Our roster is definitely good enough to be here. Saints and Giants rosters are no where near us in terms of quality. I know our bottom 6 isn’t the best but no way our team with so much talent should be missing the 8.

The fact the coach we missed the finals under will be here next year is crazy.

The depressing part about deploying a proper video review set of slowmo cameras is they havent even started.

If the AFL decided to deploy the money, the time for a project like that to go through the consultancy, design, and sourcing/waiting for the gear to be ready is about 12-18 months.

So we've got 2 seasons of whinging to go at least before any improvement.

The umpire comms was over a year and this is a far more complex problem.
