Brad Crouch has likely played his last game with his groins still causing issue apparently.

Smither’s trigger situation was a shocker no doubt but this one makes you wonder.

Brad played the most of 2023 injured.
Played round 1 2024 carrying same problem , broke down and hasn’t played again and apparently not coming up.

That one 2024 game was his trigger to get him a 2025 contract !

If so cheers for the good times Brad
At the time I was pretty disappointed with how we handled him, and he did have a very good first year at the Saints.

But in the end the injuries that cruelled him here continued to do so

The trigger itself isn’t a problem. Look at Stringer’s, $400k, no worries at all. Our issue is that we didn’t tell Smith we were going to delist and pay him out but he can call it retiring. He then went public saying he was playing on and forcing us to contradict and delist him. Which we would never do.

Bad luck to Brad, was an absolute jet until injuries just kept happening.

I remember reading on here for the first time that Cosi was not such a great guy.
Well this post hasn't had many positive comments.
What a tool.

How many weeks would the AFL give him?
He's a tool. His wife is worse. The most entitled person imaginable. If Cozi was actually a celebrity above D level, she would be the worst of the worst.

Didn't we do that to Douglas?

The Crows played finals in eight of his ten years here.

Brisbane were last the year he started and third the year he finished.

He was a positive contributor for clubs

But never developed a multi-year contending list. And we’d been playing finals prior to his arrival, again, more a status quo, steady as she goes operator.

I think it's because he's D Grade it makes her worse.

The "don't you know who I am" line she loves pulling out is a cracker.
Always funny when you see her driving the south Aussie with Cosi car around the streets driving like a real bell end.

Not sure we would have ever delisted. Not so long ago our brainiac coach said that he was a big part of the future 🙄

Rat can play very useful football in terms of forward movement and 2nd/3rd disposal out of congestion. His glaring weakness was just watching opposition run past him with ball in hand. It’s going to be interesting watching whether he plays or is just depth.
Also , is it fair to say his best footy was with us? I don’t think he’s improved at all?

My mistake, thought Whitfield - Riccardi - Taylor were amongst the suspended players.
Missed Taylor - he & Whitfield are big losses.

Guarantee big Victorian club playing them early.

Taylor & Whitfield aren't suspended

A big Vic team was always going to be their opponent in opening round
Thanks- didn't think they were.

Thought it was a bunch of no names.

Yeah, just looked it up - I didn't realise the sliding fines / suspensions.

The AFL has sanctioned 13 current and former GWS players in the wake of the Giants' post-season function, with the league describing their behaviour as "completely unacceptable".
Josh Fahey was suspended for four matches, while Jake Riccardi, Joe Fonti, Toby McMullin, Harvey Thomas and the de-listed Cooper Hamilton received two-week bans.
Giants captain Toby Greene was fined $5,000, as were Lachie Whitfield, Connor Idun, Tom Green, Sam Taylor and Lachie Keeffe.
Harry Perryman, who has since joined Collingwood as an unrestricted free agent, was fined the same amount.

Alex Keath retired after 109 games, 30 of them with us.
