However I think port would have trouble finding someone better than him.

It was an ugly game to watch. Port’s decision to go man on man seemed to unsettle the Saints who just looked disorganised with the ball. They couldn’t stick a tackle. The amount of times Old man Boak turned out of a tackle in ports backline really told the story. Winners are grinners and Hinkley was definitely smiling. I hope they give him an extension, that’ll wipe the smiles off of the swampie fans!

Been saying for a while the Saints aren’t as good as they looked. Up against a decent team who puts the pressure on and they go to water. Those forward entries in Q4 were making me sick, how many times can you bomb it over the top to the free man.

Port have way too much midfield talent and an AA defender so they were never going to win less than 10 games. The question was whether they can snag games like tonight which will put them in Top 6 contention - the answer at the moment is yes. They've been here before and I don't think they will win the premiership but who the hell knows at this point. The first third of the year is always pretty mental.
