Yeah they were pressure intensive for sure but North had heat around the ball early too and Port just busted through them. I'm more talking about what a Top 4ish side should be able to do to the likes of Hawthorn - which we aren't yet.

Game was quite close early on but it wasn't as high pressure game compared to ours against the Hawks.

I don't understand why Thursday night isn't every week. We start the year with it, it lasts for a few rounds and then we shelve it until the bye rounds where there's less games so less games scheduled against another game. I just can't understand the rationale. Surely if it works earky in the season and then during the byes, it must work everywhere else, but they've not tried it.

Agree that Thursday night games at Marvel Stadium or Brisbane during the depths of winter.

There are to many teams as it is and we are adding a 19th team, and a 20th team

There is not enough talent to spread over this many teams and to keep it as an élite competitive

ATM the bottom 3 sides are as uncompetitive as any bottom 3 sides that I can remember
