In Buddy's second goal, the ball didn't leave his foot until over the line: isn't that a point? I thought Tex got screwed by this one a few years ago.
Carried over the line in defiance of physics.Yeah he did.
I had to go back and check, it happened against West Coast in Perth back in 2016.
One of the worst goal reviews of all time and to this day I still maintain that they got it wrong.

They did get it wrong. It was a goal then and is a goal now.Yeah he did.

The ball is "kicked" the moment it touches a boot. There's no requirement in the laws for it to leave the boot.It doesn’t make any sense. If it touched the boot before the line, it’s a goal.
What if a player kicks the ball, and another play goes to soccer and ‘carries’ the ball over. Is it touched because it was carried? Does the goal go to the previous kicker even though the second player made contact with ball?
Makes no sense.
Are they umpiring it as if it has to?The ball is "kicked" the moment it touches a boot. There's no requirement in the laws for it to leave the boot.
no.Are they umpiring it as if it has to?
Seems like Fremantle are facing the similar challenges from clubs raiding their list?
Once again it seems like Geelong don’t play with the same salary cap as the rest of us.
Are they going to tell us Patty is on $50k a year now?
One of the Vic commentators? The same sort that said we should trade Dangerfield for peanuts because its good for the game? One of the commentators suggested that Fremantle trade Darcy and make Jackson their 1st Ruck
He still drew four defenders at a time!Watching last night buddy is beyond cooked. It's sad watching him play now
Massie would actually be a good match up in 2023, Craig was years ahead of his time
Yeah but his ability to win one v one contests atm....it's not great. He still drew four defenders at a time!
Fair effort to play out that nine year contract though. Most of us thought he would have retired before the end of it, like our old friend Tippo.Watching last night buddy is beyond cooked. It's sad watching him play now
