I just heard cornsey say they added McDermott and A Jarman due to work they did for the club early.
So I assumed Cornsey was the inspiration behind that.

The next group - Goodwin, Edwards, A Jarman, Laird, Maynard, McDermott, McGuinness, Thompson, Lee. If they had of stayed Davis, Cameron, Johnson and Gunston would also be in this list.

Nigel Smart contributed greatly to the 2 AFC Premierships and some of the jobs he got done on some of the absolute stars of the game as an undersized KPD were massive.

I think when someone rattles off a list they are always going to forget someone, Nige would be up there in almost everyone’s list.
