I tend to agree. I think with the media being so competitive for spots and so Vic centric I think Eddie thinks his best chance is being Carlton.

Could be that, not really sure its just a vibe I get from body language and a lack of enthusiasm for a club he played his best footy, made it to a grand final and kicked numerous goal of the years at. Would have thought despite the bad stuff there's a lot of great memories.

Eddie on Fox Footy wearing a Carlton scarf, that's the one thing that stings a bit with Betts.

We made the guy and now it feels like he has no emotional attachment to the club.

He definitely leans to the Blues. I watched the replay and he seemed despondent at times commentating. Lamenting what they were doing wrong.
I guess the decisions to clean house after the debacle have paid off and he was one of those decisions
