Metro Perth (and the Peel/South west region) still needs to quarantine. So it doesn't change the situation for our game...yet

I'd be surprised if the girls/fans that travelled to the game, are still in quarantine by the end of the week. Still, it'll be hard for both sides (and GWS/West Coast) to be ready for the weekend's games.

All of Perth is a red zone.

A couple of mates flew over for the game and they’re still quarantining

No lockdown in Victoria though, just reverting back to their NYE restrictions.

They should still be able to play.

Stats are one thing, she was poor but she's still a kid.

Well she's 20, and she has the medal and she plays for a big Vic club. She is objectively very good, but probably not really in the top 10 players yet.

Watched a replay of last night’s match and it really was one of those games that just annoys you.

It absolutely beggars belief that Geelong’s coach is still in that role, 3 years in the league and it still looked like it was one of the first few games that they’d played in the league.

Nathan Burke’s tactics weren’t that much better hence the inability to get past McDonald or break Geelong down earlier in the match despite the dominance of Blackburn, Lamb ect. in the middle.

I'm not sure why Geelong are so utterly unable to score goals this year. That wasn't a problem in previous years. Last year they posted scores of 4.4, 3.2, 6.2, 10.7, 5.8 and 3.2. Even in their first season they managed some reasonable scores (3.6, 6.1, 5.5) in between the lean weeks.

This year they've scored four goals in three matches, while conceding 20.

Their coach knows the forward line is a dumpster fire and their midfield is weak but their defence with McDonald in it can hold up some teams, so he sets up the team up accordingly and like last night when dumb midfielders kick it to 3 on 1s it leads to that low scoring game he believes is their only chance of getting a result/protecting himself from another North Melbourne type blowout
