So did Yeo. :p if I remember correctly Wilson pulled some bullshit that because Hamling is his best mate he wanted to play for freo, but I still wish we made a play for him.

He said it was freo or he would have stayed at GWS. He said that afterwards. Maybe it was in that article with THAT photo.

An opposition player gets 85 disposals against you last year over two matches, one of them being 50.

You play against them in Round 1.

You have 5 months to plan and perfect a means of addressing this.

Do you try to shut them down; tag them; negate them; or at least block their runs at stoppages?

No - you do nothing. Not a single thing. Just let that player run completely unopposed for the entire match and break the all-time VFL/AFL disposal record...

Buckley surely has to be one of the worst coaches in a senior role that I have ever seen.

Conversely, Hawthorn now look just one midfielder short of being a challenger again all of a sudden.

Mitchell and O'Meara just dominated against one of the best midfield units in the competition.

Clarkson's greatest gamble is looking like it may pay off.

I expect they will go hard after Sloane and Gaff with free agency also.

Fml if Gaff wins a premiership with them in 2019 and we use the pick on a flanker.

Australian cricket team has resorted to ball tampering

Actually in disbelief

Wow... that footage looks very bad...

"We know for sure that he took something out of his pocket and put it in his pants, then showed a different object to the umpires..."

There goes the last remaining piece of respect that was left for the Australian cricket team.

Well that's really bad, what's the penalty for ball tampering these days

Depends on if you're from a country that makes money for the ICC or not...

Should be a lifetime ban for tampering - it is nothing less than using a method outside of the rules of the game to gain an advantage - i.e. cheating.

Have long been of the opinion that cricketing bodies need to start handing out fines to players having things in their pockets when in the field in order to stamp out this crap from happening.

Yeh can't say you're wrong if he was actually ball tampering

I actually feel a bit sick seeing that. Ball tampering has always been shocking to see - Pakistan got caught about 3 times in four years at one point.

Heads should roll. To be some kind of plan by senior players is unbelievable.

Don't mind CA going beyond and above whatever punishment the ICC dish out. Smith should lose captaincy starting from todays play. Warner has less brains than Smith, fairly sure he would have been involved in the conversation. Hopefully Lyon had nothing to do with it and takes over today.

Did Boof have any involvement? He sent 12th man out to warn Bancroft to stop. But obviously thats something he would do even if he knew or didn't know beforehand.

What a mess.

Woke up on this glorious day all happy and excited about going to the footy only to see this.
Made me feel sick instantly.
Bancroft, Smith and anyone else involved should be sent home right away. The Aus cricket team is fast loosing the Australian public support.
All a bunch of campaigners!

This just shows how stupid most of the guys from today's team are, bunch of absolute morons, anyone involved should be banned for a year. This could potentially cost them a fair bit of money in the new tv rights deal as well.

Payback to South Africa in the Australian series where there captain used lollies on the ball got one test ban . ...South Africa blamed Channel Nine for showing the vision , an Australian reporter was thrown through a glass window at the Airport .

This is bad blood between the two teams where Smithy and Co has gone too far , this is better then a local derby .

It's made an already unlikable team even more unlikable imo, have been steadily losing interest in the cricket for the last few years, this might be the final straw.

Lol he was shoved into a automatic glass sliding door, not ‘thrown through a window’.

The reporter had also broken Nine’s media protocol, whatever that is, and wasn’t accredited, whatever that is.
