Adelaide just sleepwalking in that last quarter. Was like a train wreck in slow motion. Definitely reminded me of us like others are saying, feel for their supporters.
I thought missing gettable shots to put the ball game to bed and then coughing up a big lead was our thing! Quite happy to pass that on, I must admit.

Gov Jnr & Jenkins didn’t do a great deal to show why they are on so much money either. Fogarty the 1st gamer looked the most dangerous crows forward all night.

Good game in the end as a neutral. Been a good start quality wise these 1st two games.

My God, watching BT wandering around the Essendon rooms finding nobody to talk to has to be one of the most painful things ever. If nobody likes the guy, why not find someone else to do interviews, rather than watching him shove the mic in front of a bunch of assistant coaches, VFL players and random supporters who wandered in after the match?

Oh good now he's talking to children *slams the mute button on the remote*
BT is funny, and nobody is forced to watch.

My tip is still Adelaide, Sydney runner up and Essendon being one of the smokeys.
I think Essendon is a real chance too. Maybe not to win it but to make the GF.

They have a lot of energy and being generated by a large spread of players. Not relying on one or two to spark the side.

That's true, I changed to Food Network about 30 seconds after making that post.
Honestly after a long week of thinking at work I love being able to switch off and watch BT do stupid things. :D

They addressed their needs in the trade and draft period last year.

Would honestly hate to see them win a flag however with Woosha as coach it would be somewhat okay to swallow.

Disagree, this is a seriously good team that will be there again this year.

Remember the Qualifying Final against Geelong last year?

They get to play at the MCG 14 times during the regular season alone in 2018 - they are a given for top 4 (probably top 2).

They just break opposition with the weight of their pressure.

Dan Butler is looking very much like Lecras did before he broke out also.
You mean the Lecca was good?

If the option was cutting my junk off with a rusty hacksaw, listening to BT's commentary for 12 hours or listening to Basil's commentary for 12 hours i really don't know what option i'd take.

They are all clowns except for maybe Richo. Ling and Carey are particularly grating.
It's night and day in professionalism when you compare it with say the English Premier League commentary. Every caller is articulate, knowledge and professional who are there to just call the game and give the audience quality facts and opinion without any C grade comedic quips or cringey segments to fill time.

Because i follow the EPL closely as well is probably why the AFL commentary grates on my nerves so much.

I don't even like soccer but when a game is on SBS every now and then, the difference is so stark it makes you wonder if channel 7 are just taking the piss out of their audience.

EPL commentary can be very poor on occasion.
I watched a match this season and all the commentators seemed to talk about was: "Zaha should play for a better team and experience success", and also rambling on through the match the fact Hodgson is 70 years old.

I ended up muting the game.
