Agree with that, Geelong looked very underdone compared to Collingwood - in no way I am inferring the surface affected the result of the match at all.

Indeed, after this and their condition in the preseason match against Brisbane, I am starting to have some concerns that the Cats are having a premiership hangover.


The concern over a surface hastily put back together, placing player health at increased risk, still remains valid however.

At least we won a flag during our period contending. Long season mind you, but Brisbane again showing a lot of fragility. You can’t trust them.

Who cares about Dream team points? Champion data has some merit on assessing the quality of game, but not Dream team.
As an aside not the debut touted for Ashcroft. I'm sure he'll get better but when compared to Sheezel (or even Ginbey for that matter) he didn't have the same impact.

In case some smartarse kent came and said “Horne-Francis only got 90 DT points and Rioli only got 79 compared to Rozee, Burton and Powell-Pepper who all got 95pts”. Hence the qualifier that it was based on Fox’s ranking system
