I preface this by saying i have indigenous blood but do not identify as indigenous.

I’m sick of the media using these terms when describing indigenous players especially in regards to the hawthorn investigation, “boys” “fellas” “brothers”

It feels condescending, I’d like to hear your thoughts on this?

Yeah I assume it's their way of sounding like they're down to earth and approachable with indigenous people, obviously a dated way of thinking these days where everyone just wants to be treated equally and with respect.

Reading between the lines I suspect Clarko wont be coming back. North are becoming more and more likely of gaining a significant priority pick package this coming draft unfortunately. The club needs to grow a backbone and throw their (imo significant) weight around if we finish last and miss out on pick 1.

Obviously things can change.

If North get a priority pick, it won't be number 1 anyway.

Just really need north to jab a 'interim coach' win and for Hawks to beat us and North.

We have to join the parade of a priority pick.

Also for those advocating that JHF worked out fine for north it really didn't and they got the best possible scenario. They essentially Turned pick 1 and pick 1 into pick 2 and 3.

Even if he have pick 1 I want to split it unless Reid can show genuine dominance through the midfield with significantly higher numbers. Otherwise I likely wouldn't take him at pick 1 anyway.

If Reid doesn't want to leave Victoria GWS won't be involved and neither will GC.

AFL player managers are worse than pond scum. They make slumlords look like honest, genuine people. Non-dealer used car salespeople can also breathe a sigh of relief as they are probably out of the bottom 3 of most despised pricks in Australia now. 1. AFL player managers, 2. Family lawyers, 3. Real Estate agents.

The AFL doesn't give a **** and nobody is following the rules. In SE Asia (particularly in the Philippines) if there needs to be a new development and there is a dodgier older building or slum area in the way they 'magically' have an accidental fire. I would be content with all the major vic reporters being at AFL house along with the major player agents for one of these 'fires'. I'd be sorry for the rest of the families as surely most of those are good people but those pricks themselves
