Realise it’s a wet weather game but for a top of the table clash this Pies vs Port game shows just how one sided AFL players are these days.

The number of right foot check sides on the run or just trying to dink an outside of the right boot drop punt on an angle is crazy. If these blokes had at least a half competent left foot they’d be even better footballers.

We've got extremely one sided guys like Gaff, Sheed, Duggan who are slow as well.

I think we should look at this stuff when recruiting.

Can you kick both sides under pressure? if not then, bye!

There Steele Sidebottom shows the benefit of being a true dual sided player. Nails one on his non-preferred from 45m.

Wouldn’t mind a replay of that Farrell one at the top of the Port 50. Looked very much like a mark to me. He’s got a thumping left foot too.
