Matt Rowell and Marcus Ashcroft. You don't want to be a high performing debutant in Queensland.

We will see. I thought Port were more physical inside and unsettled the Pies. Port were then cleaner outside in general. Port probably fumbled more late costing them.

Rozee, Butters and Duursma were their usual class but JFH is a serious find.

Port should have won comfortably last night - they had 13 more inside 50s and over 200 metres gained compared to their opponents.

Conversion in front of goal ended up costing them the result.

Whilst being far from would could be described as a "pressing" team, Port remain the best forward half score generation team in the competition this season.

It was noticeable how they were able to dominate the territory battle until the last quarter when fatigue kicked in and the corridor opened up.

I'm convinced that any opponent playing Collingwood should have a specialist pressure forward as their substitute - the drop in forward half pressure is what allows those Magpie possession chains through the corridor to eventuate.

It's been so satisfying to watch the Dorkers lose 6 of their last 7 games to plummet from 9th to the bottom four, where they belong.

After finishing 5th last year, they thought they could make the Top 4 this year and win the flag despite that hilarious player exodus at the end of last season. They were still thinking it was possible after Round 11 with 4 wins on the trot. If we beat Norf on Sunday and they don't win any other matches, we would be able to lift ourselves off the bottom of the ladder with a Derby win. Wouldn't that be something?

The way Freo are going we could beat them probably start favourites WCE

really hoping North can somehow get up today:
  • Give us some breathing room to get us a few wins
  • Love to see the wheels completely fallen off the saints
  • Ratten redemption vs saints story

will probably be the only game i get watch this arvo - lets all pray together for an upset!!

If king asks for a trade that would certainly lock in pick one for us as the capital to get him out would need to be pretty high end.

Wonder if the wheels fall right off at the Suns if King requested a trade back to Victoria. You would think both the Hawks and Nth would have the salary cap room, draft collateral and need for a player like that.
Don't rule out Melbourne. Two first-round picks this year, one potentially in the Top 5.

GC know Hawthorn have a $1m per offer to King.

If Norf could steal a win then we can afford to beat them and freo.
However Norf backline kicking skills are leaking turnover shots on goal.
