In 2019 or 2020 the club issued either a yellow or blue hat to members, so each block had the same colour. Would have looked good if everyone wore them. The only issue is they were super cheap and didn't fit well at all.

IIRC, around a similar time they also issued a song that was super cheap and didn't fit well at all.
Would have sounded ok if ... if they never played it.

Was 2018. I was in the yellow block.

• return to royal (no more navy)

NHL playoffs going on atm - check out the winnipeg jets 'white out' - it doesn't come to my mind but has west coast eagles ever tried this? Would look fukn cool. the guys down in 6160 have 'purple haze' night which they pull off once a year, I went a couple of years and it looks pretty spectacular - would be nice to see a sea of blue/gold. Bot sure what they'd call it but would love to see it come back

I’ve been trying to follow the jets for years but can’t find where to watch this crazy as **** game to be able to learn the rules. Are there rules in hockey? $14 for the Stanley cup, best goalie in the league… get on board!!

Find yourself a canadian friend/relative and they'll tell you all about it. I've adopted the canucks as my bro has been living there the past 12 years. It is a cool sport - TV doesn't do it justice
Makes me think how much of a bush league AFL is, they have 30odd teams going for 8 playoff spots so it actually is a big deal if you make the playoffs, as opposed to the afl where almost half the teams make the AFL finals series

2 choices are Kayo where you get about 5 games a week of random teams - usually the higher placed teams (I follow Blackhawks and they're second bottom in the league and they got 2 live games for the year).

Second is an NHL live type subscription but it is exorbitant pricing - from memory something like $30 a month but you get every game. Great deal if you're crazy about it and have plenty of time to watch.

Unfortunately most games are at 8-9am our time, so unless you can keep away from spoilers or have flexi work they're hard to watch.

However, NHL on YouTube compress the games into 10ish minutes of highlights which are great.
