There was more non-controlling umpire decisions in that game than any other game I can remember.

So ports MO is to come out and smash the first half of the season looking like a premiership team before completely shitting the bed in the 2nd half of the season .

The fact they play so many home games means they get the rough end of the stick in the 2nd half when they struggle.

They get 13 out of 23 games at home this season including away vs crows and gather round

why does late whistles and umpire from 100m away mean poor umpiring, if the decisions were correct?

as for umpiring, has there ever been a season without perceived poor umpiring? they don't have Birds Eye view and with congestion, I am amazed they see anything.....personally, don't think its that bad. poor umpiring perception isn't helped by shitty centre bounces they need to perform that only the die hards care about.

And you can’t have rules black and white as then there would be free kicks for incidental contact.

They make 1000s of decisions each game.
