Not surprised by the current look of the game.

Cats have nursed Selwood. He looks cooked. Proof the man is human.

A procession for Geelong would not be a good thing. This game feels to me like a bit of old overly conservative Geelong being made to look good by a poor opponent.

I know it’s early but the lions forward line looked a lot better the past 2 weeks with only 2 forwards. I don’t think they win the games without the forced changes.
I never understood the Buddy to Lions talk a while ago. 3 tall forwards, all left footers and all leading to the same pocket.

Their forward line looked better last week with no Joe as it enabled Cameron to get into the game more. He and Joe don't seem to have clicked.

This piece of special comments from Bartel in regards to the extra man back from both sides and neither team being able to use the corridor had me (and Bartel) puzzled!

"The Cats setting up with their spare behind the footy and blocking off the corridor, so their trying to stop the Lions coming through the middle which has made it really difficult. And the Cats, their going around the Lions one blocking up the middle". WUT????

He stutters over the last 6 words, that was the moment he realised he had no idea wtf he was talking about!😂

Cats look good when they play quick footy. Gives them a real change up. You know they can slow the game and hold the footy and are a great marking side in the back half. The fact they show a bit more dare has made a difference.

I think he’s fine. Problem is he and Hipwood are too similar and McStay isn’t good enough to provide balance.
He will never be what he could have been as his groin injury has to be managed. Good player but just not the super star he could have been.

Yep I know you couldn’t have left him out but geeeze you think fagan wish he wasn’t playing this week. Their forward line worked so much better. Plus extra forward line pressure.
