For Players it’s pretty simple. Shut up. Umpires never change their decision.
I’m sick of backchat at junior levels that I coach and umpire and applealing for free kicks just pisses me off.
AFL needs to lead by example and cut it out at all levels.
Brad Scott will be having words with the 2 who umps haven’t paid the arms out tonight.
Players will adapt and we will all forget about it as respect becomes the norm.

Offensive gameplan for GWS
A) Slowy look around for someone towards the boundary that might be free, if open kick to them, if not, resort to b
B) kick long down the line to a contest

No running, no switching, just slow chip kicking until they can’t, then force a contest 50m down the line and hope your superior midfield can win the contest.

I regret my GWS tip immensely

They’re up now but regardless of the outcome I agree. They’re boring to watch and they haven’t evolved their game style at all.

GWS look truly awful. I honestly can’t identify how they’re trying to play. The worst part about it is the wealth of talented players they’ve got who are just stinking it up
