Well, if you can't beat your co-workers to a promotion, beat them at football tipping I say! =P
Just kidding, I don't want a promotion, I do enough work as it is! Hahaha
Good job St Kilda, you've kept me in the lead!

I just hope we don't play them the week after Leon gets fired and replaced. I'd like to play them the week immediately before where the 100 point belting is the final nail
You really are sadistic Taylor - I like it hahaha!

If a Tassie team comes in the AFL can’t make the same mistake as with GWS and GC and just hand them six or seven top 10 picks for two years straight.
They could still get these picks, but be forced to trade at least 3 of them for mature players of genuine quality. Shouldnt be allowed to take more than three top 10 picks when building a list.
Of course all these w***er list managers types would be salivating at getting access to all these top end picks if Tassie comes on board, and stacking a list with about 20 top end kids. It doesn’t work like that though. The evidence is clear.

They'll be after Pearce so so badly, is it wrong I'm thinking of the extreme overs we'd get compensated with for losing him while likely contracted...

We play Giants in last round.

So either could be a farewell game or he will be sacked long before then

Toby Greene looks fat.

GWS look like us from the Ross Lyon era, these memories are very painful for me.

Can somebody tell me whether I'm experiencing confirmation bias, or if there are many arrogant, overly-confident Carlton fans on these forums?
I've encountered so many of who act as if their club is soooo superior to all competitors, and genuinely treat other supporters with contempt. It's blowing my mind!!!!

Yeah it's something that's perplexed me. I remember when Port came into the league, their supporters were a bunch of arrogant campaigners, but after they went through those years where they choked in finals, and then those disaster seasons about 10 years ago it seemed to mellow them a bit. Carlton have been a lot worse, basically the league joke for a good couple of decades, yet for some reason their fans still think that they're hot shit?

It's a head-scratcher for sure! I truly believe that each and every ounce of arrogance and gusto the fans project, is a product of their 16 VFL premierships from circa 2058 BC. It's also the whole concept of "keeping up appearances" as a big Victorian entity and the media predicting their success and subsequent rise, year after year, after year. Then again, a very humble Carlton fan privately messaged me yesterday, apologising for a comment he made, that may have been misconstrued. The dude is genuinely wholesome, so as always, there are numpty and genuinely nice people within a supporter base. Some of them do need to tone down the arrogance though.

Overall the Saints played pretty poorly tonight but played well enough in spurts to win. It wasnt pretty but grinding out the win missing two rucks cant be understated.

However this new umpiring rule cant ead. Its awful and is ruining the game. They really need to get it right and soon its going to cost a team a shot at a premiership.

I predicted the rule would be a problem and was roundly poo pooed on here, some even supporting the rule saying it was a good one.

Firstly, Any rule that isn't black or white and instead relies on the umpires to make a decision on whether it's paid or not is going to cause problems. Secondly, the rule isn't necessary imo. The descent isn't that bad. And thirdly, the penalty is way too harsh.

Carlton are such a relic of the past VFL and have no standing in the current AFL, that their supporters believe by puffing their feathers it gives them some relevance.

As a club they are a dinosaur
