Nearly choked on my drink when I read this.
Fremantle played one Friday night game in 7 years and I don’t remember this fool mentioning it on any of his many platforms

To be fair this is the worst bit of fixturing we've copped since they put us on Queens birthday at 12pm when all of WA was at work.

Thankyou Crows
Happy Eddie Murphy GIF

Only if they had planned to turn him into a forward and then my point stands. Forwards and mids only.

There is not one defender in the comp I'd use a top 10 pick on and if one so far above the pack fell to my pick, I'd see what I can turn that pick into.

Wise words lol

4 years too late

But still wise

Nick's is a good coach.

Good list management at the Crows too but the gameplan is so good they can play crabs like Murphy and get away with it.
A lot on the Crows board wanted Nicks gone at the end of last year. His coaching was bog average and he was under more pressure for his job than JL the last two years.
Shows that whatever you think about our current situation, keeping the faith pays off more often than not in the AFL.

If you wanna laugh head over to the Carlton game day thread and search for Acres 😂
He had 10 turnovers. Still think he has been a loss. I guess if we find a decent replacement by the end of the year it would have worked out. So far Henry and Hughes haven’t hit the mark aise from one game (round 1) by Henry.

disposal aside he got into some good places and doesn’t mind the contest, I could see why we miss him this year.

He’s a progression stopper if you ask me.
Of all the problems we have, losing acres is an easy one to fix

Carlton are currently undefeated but I honestly would not be surprised to see them miss finals again. Something very unconvincing about them
Their bottom 10 players are bog average. They have an underdone Walsh at the moment and a Brownlow medalist who is out of form . If they lost one or both of their twin towers they would become very ordinary very quickly. Defence outside of Weitering is next level rubbish.

I don't watch em closely enough, but they have the past two Coleman medallists and last year's Brownlow medallist, and yet they still missed finals.

If they were improved then by rights they should be creaming other teams around them, but they don't. That alone tells me they don't bat very deep at all.

I may have been little harsh saying bottom 10 , But their bottom 6 are very average .

Love the kid a fierce competitor. The acorn I believe has not fallen too far from the tree from what I am told.
Also interesting that he seems to be able to play on the smaller forwards so must have good agility.

What’s interesting watching Adelaide v Us & Carlton is the way Adelaide remove the ball out of stoppages & general contests. Their willingness to get to the contest & then the ball movement out reminds me of us when we were playing well last year.

The midfield set up without Mundy around, JOM coming in & the lack of form of Brayshaw & Brodie is a big factor in our struggles this year. We got decent numbers last week, but it was nothing compared to how Adelaide are moving the ball.

I don’t think we’re working hard enough defensively at the contest either & it appears we expected it to just role on from last season. Our preseason games lacked intensity & we’ve taken that form in with other clubs going past us for the moment.

Hopefully the midfield steps up as it will help both forward & back.

Acres wasnt that bad. Thought he tried to get involved. Carlton’s first 11 is elite, the rest is utter garbage.
Their one or two injuries away to McKay and Curnow to being bottom 10.
Hell even McKay was useless tonight.

Will keep saying this time and time again, Cripps is hampering the team not maximising it.

Like I have said before - Mckay is a flawed player IMO.
You cannot trust this guy in big moments. He has several Tabs like brain freezes in him on a regular basis.
Long way short of the likes of lynch Hawkins etc.

Cerra secretly misses Fremantle. Really poor this season. Could be dropped
Nope won't be dropped , He is not that fantastic to be honest never has been , But is handy as #4 mid has good skills no champion but steady and handy.
Nothing has changed .
Name a game where he has been the reason his side won or lost?
